Hi, my name is Irina and I am the Founder of Iris Art Studio.
I believe that every child is a talented creator and my goal is to assist them to discover their own path to their creativity. Iris Art is little cosy home-based studio which I’ve organised for young artists.
As a child, I loved to draw and paint. From the age of eight I studied Art at an Art School in Belarus (Eastern Europe) where I grew up. In 2003, after finishing my study at University, I graduated with Bachelor Degree in Architecture. I worked a several years with construction companies as an Urban Designer.
In 2008, Australia became a new home for me and my family. I began to teach Art at Community schools and privately for small groups of children. Teaching Art to my young students gave me a wealth of inspiration and ideas. I realised that teaching is beneficial for me, for my character and personality and trough this I am able to inspire and reach out to my students. As a result I was encouraged to continue my own study in Art. In 2015, I completed a Diploma in Art Appreciation ( TheArtInstitute, Australia) and Diploma in Visual Art (Nepean Art&Design Centre). Here you can see some examples of my art works.
I firmly believe that art makes everyone happy and every child must have a chance to be an artist, to explore their worlds though visual images and unlock their own unique creativity.
